The Métis Nation–Saskatchewan (MN–S) government and MN–S NR3 are hosting a Métis Rights and Engagement gathering in South Bay: ‘Advancing inherent Métis Rights Through Knowledge, Engagement, and Nation-Building through our citizens at home’, August 5-9.

Ø June 27 – Deadline for questions
Ø July 4 – Tender submission deadline
Ø July 7-11 – Evaluation period

Save the date for the Métis Rights and Engagement Conference now!
Arrive Wednesday, August 5. Sessions begin on Thursday and run through Sunday, August 9, 2026.
The conference will focus on three main issues:
Ø Building strong families through Métis-distinct cultural connection and land- based activities;
Ø Enhancing Métis economic growth through information sharing on MN-S economic developments and industry initiatives, and;
Ø Advancing student achievement by providing a forum for discussion of upcoming job and training opportunities in the resource sector.
Connect with other Métis leaders and citizens on the land to network, share information on economic development initiatives, and participate in cultural activities.
The gathering is open to everyone.
