Emergency Repairs Program

The Métis Nation–Saskatchewan Emergency Repairs Program (ERP), a component of the MN–S Housing Strategy, is accepting applications.

The ERP provides a one-time, indirect grant to registered Métis citizens who currently own their homes and have a Gross Annual Household Income of less than $120,000 a year. Applications go through a selection process that involves a home inspection report that prioritizes needs. Individuals looking for cosmetic fixes will not be eligible.

The ERP offers up to $10,000 in the South and Central regions, and up to $15,000 in the Northern region. Eligible critical repair items include failed primary heating sources, water heaters and roofs.
