Welcome to the Nation Baby Package
Did you know - when you register your baby between the ages of birth to 12 months old, you can apply to receive a Welcome to the Nation package? This hearty package, filled with infant and cultural items, aims to provide opportunities for parents and caregivers to build meaningful connections with their child while deepening their connection to Métis culture.
An application is required for this program. Families must apply after completing their infant’s citizenship registration and before their first birthday.

Please note: That if your child is registered after their 1st birthday, they will not be eligible for this package. However, they may be eligible for the Cultural Package Program and Little Reader Program. Application forms can be found on this page.
