Citizen engagement is about how Métis citizens connect with their government – and how your government listens, learns, and responds.

At Métis Nation–Saskatchewan (MN–S), citizen engagement means building strong, respectful relationships rooted in Métis culture, identity, and community. We work to make government clear, open, and easy to understand, so citizens feel informed, heard, and proud to be connected.

What this means for citizens

We believe good engagement is a two‑way conversation. It’s not just about sharing information – it’s about listening and learning together.

Through citizen engagement, we:

• Share clear, plain‑language information about MN–S programs, services, and priorities
• Create opportunities for citizens to take part in events, conversations, and decision‑making
• Listen to feedback to help shape policies, programs, and services
• Support citizens in registering, participating, and staying connected

Our goal is to help citizens feel confident engaging with their government and see themselves reflected in the work we do.
