Let's Soar Program

The Amachiwayhaataak (Let’s Soar) Program provides financial support to families of Métis children (aged birth to 12) who have additional or specialized needs. This program helps families in accessing the educational, health and social supports they need for their child(ren). The goal is to give parents the confidence and comfort to have their children succeed in their educational journey.

Children 13 years or older and those with very complex needs can also access support through our Learning Support Specialist (LSS). The LSS helps families access assessments, services, and funding, including assistance with Disability Tax Credit (DTC) applications. Please connect directly with the MN-S Learning Support Specialist at lss@mns.ca.

The Amachiwayhaataak (Let’s Soar) Program will be ongoing from April 1, 2026, to March 31, 2027. Applications for the 2026-2027 program are now open.
