Welcome to the Department of Veterans at Métis Nation–Saskatchewan. Our department is dedicated to advocating on behalf of the brave Métis people who answered the call to military service in defense of our country and its allies. We are committed to safeguarding the stories, and remembrance of their service for present and future generations. Through working close with our government partners and Veterans Affairs Canada, we strive to ensure Métis men and women are remembered for their service. Join us as we honor our veterans that continue to reflect the strength of the Métis.

2025 Indigenous Veterans Day Ceremony

Métis Nation–Saskatchewan commemorated Indigenous Veterans Day at Batoche, with a ceremony held ahead of the official day on November 8. Let us come together as a community to recognize the incredible courage and sacrifice of our Métis veterans.
