June 26, 2025 – Treaty 6 Territory and Heartland of the Métis, Dakota Dunes, SK – During what was to be a celebratory day for members of the Métis Nation–Saskatchewan (MN–S) Provincial Métis Council (PMC) on June 24, the Swearing-in Ceremony was disrupted by two re-elected PMC members, WR2 Regional Director Sherry McLennan and WR3 Regional Director Wendy Gervais who are currently suspended from their duties on PMC following a harassment complaint and investigation.
