Métis Nation–Saskatchewan provides Tobacco Quit Kits to those citizens trying to quit tobacco. Quitting can be a challenge for anyone, and having the right tools and support can make a big difference! Métis Nation–Saskatchewan wants to help Métis citizens overcome the hurdles they may face on their journey toward a healthier, tobacco-free lifestyle. The Tobacco Quit Kits provides citizens with helpful items and quit-smoking support to encourage and assist them throughout their quitting journey.

The kits include wellness items to support citizens. Items may include: quit tracker journals, mints, fidget tools, and more. The kits do not include any nicotine replacement products.

Eligibility:

  • Registered MN–S citizens
  • 19 years of age or older

Once accepted for the program, citizens must pick up their Tobacco Quit Kits at one of the MN–S Ma Faamii locations. Mailing arrangements are available only when pickup is not possible.

Application Form

Thank you for your interest in a Tobacco Quit Kit. Completing the ‘Citizen Registry Number’, and ‘Citizen Region’ information is mandatory in order to recieve a kit, but the remaining quit-experience questions are optional. If you do wish to complete these questions your responses help your Métis Nation Ministry of Health, Mental Health and Addictions team hear from you directly and inform how we shape future programming and supports related to tobacco cessation.
