For the past decade, the Métis Nation–Saskatchewan government has provided an arms length support to the Île-à-la-Crosse (ILEX) Residential School Survivors’ Steering Committee (Committee). This support assisted the Committee in securing settlement agreements with both Canada and Saskatchewan.
