Saying goodbye is never easy, and honouring our loved ones in the right way can come with financial burdens that bring added stress during an already difficult time. The MN–S Funeral and Bereavement Program supports eligible Métis citizens with direct financial support for eligible expenses associated with funerals.

MN–S is conducting a community-led research project to gather perspectives on the birthing experiences of Métis citizens. This research will help shape the future MN–S Midwifery & Birthing Center, ensuring it provides culturally safe and relevant care. We invite Métis citizens to share their stories through a survey, which will guide the development of this important initiative.

Trying to quit smoking or vaping is a challenge for anyone. It’s a hard habit to break and cessation therapies and treatments are expensive. Métis Nation–Saskatchewan wants to help Métis citizens get over the hurdles they face on the road to a better lifestyle. The Nicotine Replacement Therapy is a program designed to help citizens access effective smoking reduction medicines and therapies and reimburse a portion of the associated costs.
